The Layout
The website is designed using a series of ‘Top Down’ categories to group like items together. In most cases you should find the items you are looking for within three clicks.
E.G. Banknotes/Europe/Austria… all Austrian Banknotes will together.
Once within the category World Banknotes are sequenced by the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money (published by Krause) reference commonly known as ’Pick’.
Bank of England and Treasury notes are sequenced by the English Paper Money (published by Pam West) reference commonly known as Duggleby. However the Pick number is also found within the description.
Other items, Cheques etc. are sequenced alphabetically, by country.
Currency box
The default currency is in Pounds Sterling. However you can view the site in Euros or U.S. Dollars. Go to the Currency Box on the left of the screen and select, from the ‘drop down’ menu the desired currency. This will also enable you to pay in the currency chosen.
Search for: box
The Search for: box (top right of the screen) will allow you to find all of the items, which have the characters you have input, within their description/comments. These can be part words or complete words.
If you input more than one character string separated by a space the search will find all of the items, which have either character string within their description/comments.
E.G. enter allied WWII and press Go, all items which have either allied or WWII in their description will be returned.
If you input more than one character string separated by a percentage sign - % - the search will find all of the items, which have both character strings.
E.G. enter allied%WWII and press Go all items which have both allied and WWII in their description will be returned.
